About  Venus Sourcing & Investments

Three black women business owners from diverse business backgrounds, Jean Chawapiwa, Jenny Classen and Melanie Medell came together to create Venus Sourcing.
They share a passion for supporting African women of all races to grow their businesses to multinationals, creating the millions of jobs needed for the continent.

Through their experiences which include working in management and executive for wide-ranging corporates from manufacturing and the retail sector to mining, then individually becoming entrepreneurs, they have a lot of experience and contacts they want to share.

The aim for Venus Sourcing & Investments to help identify and register women business owners across Africa to take advantage of opportunities that will help businesses. In addition to this they want to help women business owners in Africa to find each other, and be able to buy from each other, collaborate and support each other for growth.

The Venus Sourcing platform aims to link women business owners with Marketplace Africa’s large buyers, corporations and governments.
